Bellaroo slings are pouch style slings, which means there are no buckles, rings or attachments. They are a simple design and worn folded. Once over your shoulder they create a pocket or 'pouch' that the baby lies or sits in and recreates the feeling of being in the Mothers womb. They are suitable for carrying your newborn right through to when he/she is a toddler.

Baby-wearing has been proven to be a very successful method of settling fussy and unsettled babies, and hugely assists in parent/baby bonding, and it is very convenient too! Also, because they fold up so small, they can easily be taken with you in your handbag or glove box.

This is a classic pouch design with a slightly tapered shoulder for less excess fabric and bulk and light leg padding for babies comfort.  Like all pouch slings, weight is distributed evenly across the back for the comfort of the wearer.

Slings are made here in New Zealand, using natural materials, and always with fashion in mind!

Fit is everything!
Getting a good fit is very important for the comfort and safety of you and your baby.  The sling should fit the wearer so use the sizing chart below as a guide to decide which size suits you.  (if you don't fit within these sizes, check with us, as we may be able to make a custom pouch for you, depending on fabric availability, etc)
